
Andy McIntosh, Senior Associate

Andy is a strategic thinker who takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. Much of his success in representing clients stems from his market knowledge, extensive industry networking and understanding current conditions. He advises his clients on how to take advantage of market conditions to maximize their real estate objectives.
Areas of Specialization
Since joining Paramount Real Estate Corporation in 2003, Andy has focues on the southwest and west suburbs, representing companies in the site selection process, skillfully guiding them through both purchase and lease transactions. Andy also specializes in the successful sales and leasing of industrial and office properties and land.
Professional Experience
Andy began his career in Chicago, working for a division of Kaplan as the Director of a for-profit children's education center. Returning to the Twin Cities, Andy joined Oakwood Buildings as a Project Manager. He assisted clients in the estimating and construction of commercial, multi-unit housing and municipal projects. Andy leverages this project management and construction experience to this clients' advantage in both lease and purchase transactions.
Education and Affiliations
Andy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, Massachusetts, majoring in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought. He is a member of both the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), presently Chair of the Community Relations Committee, and a member of the Minnesota Chapter of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and actively pursues ongoing educational opportunities through these groups. He has completed Commercial Invement Real Estate (CCIM) coursework. Andy is a past member of the Burnsville Planning Commission. He was recently awarded "Best in Client Satisfaction" by a Twin Cities trade journal-a distinction shared by fewer than 7 percent of all metro practitioners.
Personal Interests
A native of the Twin Cities, Andy lives with his wife and two sons in Burnsville. Andy enjoys outdoor adventures, golf, exercising his dog, and spending time with extended family both in Minnesota and in New England.
