Phil specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial properties. Over the years, he has earned the loyalty and trust of his clients – many of whom have relied on him time and time again. Through hard work and integrity, Phil has earned a reputation as an honest, loyal and creative professional who possesses both a sense of humor and great industry wisdom.

Phil has extensive relationships with brokers, owners, developers and users. This network of contacts gives his clients a rare level of access to market information. Because of his long history with industry players and users, he is able to introduce the parties, manage and facilitate the transaction to a successful conclusion. Over the years, corporate and landlord clients alike have depended on and benefited from his experience and expansive market knowledge and integrity.

Professional Experience
In 1988, Phil began his real estate career at KOLL (formerly The Shelard Group), where he represented local and national clients. His primary focus was on the sale and leasing of industrial properties, and the representation of users, owners, developers and investors in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate.

After eight years at KOLL, Phil joined with Fred Hedberg in 1996 to form Paramount Real Estate Corporation. Their common philosophy led to the creation of one of the most highly respected commercial real estate companies in the Twin Cities area.

Education and Affiliations
Phil earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of St. Thomas with a double major in Economics and Business Finance. He is a current member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Minnesota Association of Commercial Realtors (MNCAR), of which he is a past President and in 2000 was awarded Commercial Realtor of the Year. Phil was also President of the Minnesota Commercial Property Exchange (MCPE) in 2001. He was instrumental in MNCAR’s development of the MCPE, a web-based property system that is recognized nationally as one of the premier commercial real estate web-based property data systems. It was this recognition that led the MCPE to develop a strategic alliance with a real estate technology company, Xceligent, a process Phil spearheaded.

Personal Interests
Phil is an active husband and father of three. He is a life long resident of the Twin Cities and currently resides in Lake Elmo. Phil and his family love to ski, bike and spend time together.
