On September 1, 2020 three of Paramount’s brokers attended the 17th annual MNCAR Golf Event. Jeffrey Swanson, Joseph Schultz and Jack Buttenhoff proudly represented Paramount Real Estate Corporation. They had the pleasure of golfing with Connor Nichols from Carlson Partners. The event was held at Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake, MN. MNCAR provided lunch from 10:30-11:15 with a shotgun start was shortly after around 11:15 a.m. They spent the majority of the day golfing and dinner was around 5:00 p.m.
Paramount brokers have been attending this event for many years now, and they are happy to support MNCAR. It’s fun meeting tournament sponsors who attend the event as well as see what interesting swag they give out at each golf hole. Typically each hole is accompanied with yard games, snacks, or drinks. There were great swag giveaways this year including coozies, mini hand sanitizers, and even a $4,500 watch, but only if you’re to hit a hole-in-one!
“It was a fun time associating with colleagues outside of work. A little bit of normal in a Covid world.” Joe Schultz, East Team Associate.
“It was a great day to be outside, it was a lot of fun getting to know the people in the industry, looking forward to future events with awesome people.” Jack Buttenhoff, East Team Associate.
“We had great weather for an event that has been rained out and 95 degrees over the last few years. Great showing at the event with only a few unfilled spots and no sponsorless holes” Jeffrey Swanson, West Team Associate.

It was a beautiful sunny 80 degree day for Paramount’s 2020 Tour de Paramount bike ride. We enjoyed a 14 mile tree-covered ride between Shakopee and Chaska along the Minnesota River. Chaska’s Crooked Pint Ale House and Fireman’s Park was the halfway point of our ride. We stopped for refreshments then returned to Shakopee for food and relaxed in Julie and Russ Abrahamson’s backyard. Fun Crew!
Fred and Sue Hedberg recently hosted the 4th annual Tour de Paramount. The Paramount crew had a perfect day to go for a bike ride to Hyland Park Reserve in Bloomington. #TourdeParamount #BikingYah #Hillsarehard
Every year MNCAR hosts a charitable golf event for brokers. This year 144 brokers attended the event at Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake. The day is full of eating, drinking, prizes and a lot of face-to-face networking. Although the team did get wet, a little rain wont stop Paramount brokers from enjoying a fun day of golf!

The Paramount crew recently visited the Chaska Curling Club for a curling lesson. It was the first time curling for most of us. It’s more difficult than it looks!! #Curling, #It’sTough, #USACurling
Fact: Curling has been an official sport in the Winter Olympic Games since 1998. Jeff Swanson throws for the yellow team. The red team wins the game!
On December 14th, 2017 Paramount along with the owners of 500 Bielenberg, Pat and Angie Gorham, hosted a Holiday Breakfast for our tenants. 500 Bielenberg Drive in Woodbury is one of the properties that we manage from maintenance issues to rent payments, etc. We decided that it was time we hosted a Holiday Breakfast to show some appreciation to our tenants and i tell you what.. we had a great turn out. The food line seemed to be steady the majority of the entire time which we were thrilled about. We were so appreciative to everyone who came and took their time to say hello and join in for the breakfast, and so pleased with everyone who helped out and made this event possible. Out of the 1,300 tenants we estimated that about 1,000 joined for breakfast which we were very happy about! We also had a Harpist, Laurie Leigh, come out to perform for everyone. She was a great addition to the event and created just the holiday mood that we had hoped for. We are so pleased with this turn out and can’t wait to host this event again in 2018!
Paramount employees and friends spent an afternoon volunteering at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Thursday, September 7, 2017. We were able to package 78 boxes containing 16,848 meals. Paramount volunteers hand-packed MannaPack Rice, an excellent source of protein, carbohydrates and key nutrients culturally acceptable worldwide for anyone over the age of one. The meals contained rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world. The meals we prepared were shipped to Haiti.

It was a great way to spend time together outside of work, get some light exercise and fresh air. We took in several sites such as Target Center, Fulton Brewery and Gluek’s Pub. Fun time had by all!!
